RPPC membership is open to companies active in or having a business interest in directly and indirectly port-related services in the port, transport and logistics sectors in the great Rotterdam area.

Who can join?
The RPPC has approximately 250 members. Virtually all sectors in and around the port are represented, including warehousing and transhipment companies, transport companies, forwarding agents, stevedores, shipbrokers, ship operators and the maritime industry. Companies having an indirect link with the port, such as banks, insurance companies, legal and financial advisers are also members of the RPPC.

Minister opens Maasvlakte 2
,,Today we are clearing the way for international shipping and trade. That’s typical of the Netherlands. That’s how we became big. With Maasvlakte 2, the Netherlands is throwing the door wide open to the newest generation of container ships. And we offer space for the latest terminals. The port is growing 20% larger, and the container capacity has doubled.” With these words, Melanie Schultz van Haegen, Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment, today (22 May 2013) opened Maasvlakte 2 to shipping.
