Port Safari
At the request of members and business contacts of the port of Rotterdam, the RPPC organises excursions which are called 'port safaris'. A port safari is a guided tour through the Rotterdam port area. Among other things, participants can take a close look at the world's largest ships, visit distribution centres and watch the transhipment process in the company of expert guides.
Tailor-made programme
The RPPC draws up exclusive programmes on the basis of members' requirements and ideas. The RPPC's contacts means that members and their clients can visit the company chosen by the client, including a guided tour.
Tour by bus or boat
Depending on the duration of the port safari, those interested can choose between transport by bus and/or by boat. Because the Rotterdam port and industrial area is fairly extensive (distance from sea to city about 40 km), the combination of bus and boat is the ideal solution for day trips.
Additional services
The port safari provides those requesting the trip with the opportunity of spending time with clients in a personal and informal setting. If desired, the RPPC will therefore take on all the preparations, including drawing up a programme and arranging the catering.
