Final throughput figures 2011 for Rotterdam

The final figures for the throughput in the port of Rotterdam in 2011 come out at 434.6 million tonnes, which is a 1.0 percent increase compared with the year 2010. These figures are slightly higher than the provisional figures (433.4 million tonnes and 0.8 percent growth) as published earlier.

The figures according to cargo type in tonnes and containers in TEU show small to extremely small absolute differences with the provisional figures. However, the difference as a percentage can add up significantly in relative terms.
