By car

From the direction The Hague (A13):
at the Kleinpolderplein A20 intersection go towards 'Hoek van Holland'. At the Kethelplein A4 intersection follow the signs 'Europoort'. At the Beneluxplein A15 intersection go towards 'Dordrecht'. Take exit 19 (Charlois) and keep following Charlois. Turn left at the sign 'Heijplaat/Maastunnel (havens 2000-2249)' into the Koperweg. Go straight at the crossing with the traffic lights (to Waalhaven Zuidzijde). 50 meters after the crossing, turn right, PortCity II is the building in the middle.

From the direction Utrecht (A20):
at the Terbregseplein A16 intersection go towards 'Dordrecht/Breda'. After the Van Brienenoordbridge follow the signs 'Europoort'. Take exit 19 (Charlois) and keep following Charlois. Turn left at the sign 'Heijplaat/Maastunnel (havens 2000-2249)' into the Koperweg. Go straight at the crossing with the traffic lights (to Waalhaven Zuidzijde). 50 meters after the crossing, turn right, PortCity II is the building in the middle.

From the direction Breda/Dordrecht (A16):
at the Ridderkerk A15 intersection go towards 'Europoort'. Take exit 19 (Charlois) and keep following Charlois. Turn left at the sign 'Heijplaat/Maastunnel (havens 2000-2249)' into the Koperweg. Go straight at the crossing with the traffic lights (to Waalhaven Zuidzijde). 50 meters after the crossing, turn right, PortCity II is the building in the middle.

Public transport

Public Transport (from metrostation Rotterdam Zuidplein):

  • Bus 68 (towards Heijplaat), get off at the second bus stop (Waalhaven Zuidzijde)
  • Bus 71 (towards ECT/Seattleweg), get off at the bus stop on the corner Waalhaven Zuidzijde/Anthony Fokkerweg (this bus only drives in the morning during rush hour)

Who can join?
The RPPC has approximately 250 members. Virtually all sectors in and around the port are represented, including warehousing and transhipment companies, transport companies, forwarding agents, stevedores, shipbrokers, ship operators and the maritime industry. Companies having an indirect link with the port, such as banks, insurance companies, legal and financial advisers are also members of the RPPC.

Port of Rotterdam throughput up 3%
In the first quarter of 2012, throughput in the port of Rotterdam was 3% up on the same period of last year, at 110 million tonnes.
