Activities in the Rotterdam port area have long gone beyond mere goods transhipment. Over the past decades, many other service-providers have found their way to one of the largest and most strategic locations in Europe, where loading and unloading, warehousing and transhipment, forwarding and transport are concerned. The diversity and the number of members of the RPPC are proof of the great importance of the port of Rotterdam.
