Rotterdam Portholes

On Friday, June 6, the 15th edition of the annual 'Rotterdam Portholes' golftournament was held.

An festive edition because of the 75th anniversary of the Rotterdam Port Promotion Council.

Special Jubilee Edition

The day started with the Annual General Meeting. The tournament was played in a new game '4 ball scramble'. After the tournament and the clinic, the guests could enjoy drinks and a barbecue and live entertainment with on the stage Joke Bruijs and Lois Lane.

Prize Winners

180 golf players were challenged to win the ''Mainport Cup'. The “Mainport Cup’ was won by the flight van Jumelet Verhagen Advocaten with a score of 40 points. De winning flight consisted of mr H. Post (Rulewave BV), mr A. Storm (Hudig & Veder Chartering), mr S. Nijveen (Nyki Shipping BV) and mr M. Verhagen (Jumelet Verhagen Advocaten).

De second prize with a score of 43 points was won by the flight of Euro-Rijn BV, formed by mr A.J.C.F. van Ommen, mr A.P.C. van Ommen and mr G.D. Huygen of Euro-Rijn BV and mr J. Jan van Beveren.

The team of Matrans Marine Services BV, with mr R. Eijkels, mr M. Ritman, mr B. Lek (all three of ECT) and mr L. Keiman (Matrans), received the third prize, also with a score of 43 points.

24 Persons took part in the the clinic. The clinic was won by Team 1, with mrs Daniëlle Beckers, mrs Sandra Rudin (both of Neele Groep), mr Fred Diepeveen, mr Cor Romijn (both of Flinter), Holger Quirein (Imperial-de Grave), Joost Rossen and Jan van de Wetering (Allianz Global Risks Nederland).
